A/ROSE stands for Apple Real-Time Operating System Environment. Allows communication between your computer's main logic board and NuBus cards that run the Apple Real-Time Operating System. Examples of such NuBus cards include the Apple Token Ring 4.16 NB card and the Apple Serial NB card. Necessary if you have NuBus card installed.
